Cria

AVR Fortitude, is from very well known bloodlines Peruvian Presidio and Vengador‘s Sultan. Fortitude’s first year of life was very difficult, his mom died when he was 4 months old from a complication of his birth and at first we were not sure if he was going to make it either. He persevered and that is how he got his name. We choose not to show him when he was a juvenile because of his rough start but he came out onto the show circuit with gusto. His first show was TxOlan and he took a first place from Charlene Freidman. It was a large class of light fawn males from quality breeders from all over the country. Fort’s second show was AWE and this class was even bigger and more competitive but once again he was placed first. He was judged by Kristen Berman at AWE. About the time GWAS rolled around he was done with the show circuit he did not want to be there and did not show himself very well at all. He received a 5th place from Jude Anderson but she commented how his fleece was as good as the males above him but he just did show him self to his full potential. Fort’s conformation is outstanding straight legs both front and back, his bone structure is outstanding with full coverage down to his toes. This fleece is soft and uniformly crimped through out his blanket. The crimp extends far down his legs. His neck and top knot exhibit crimp that is similar to his blanket. Fort has started breeding this fall and has one female spitting off. Fortitude is ready to start spreading his genetics; do you have a girl for him?

Presidio's book is now closed. Presidio is perhaps the finest-producing son of Accoyo Caligula, and his dam, 3Peruvian Senna, is a fawn from the Sollocata region of Peru. He now has 7 "Get of Sire" wins to his credit & was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show, in what Judge Mike Safely called the "best Get of Sire class" he'd ever judged. When we stopped counting, his crias had over 65 color championships and over 90 blue ribbons. His daughter Xanadu P. Donno Bello, had the White Color Champion Fleece at the 2004 AOBA show, too.

Presidio's fleece combines deep amplitude crimp.

Marci took one look at this guy and she had to have him, we are sure that when you cast your eyes on him you will feel the same way. Come see for yourself. New to Colorado, if you are looking for a Rose Grey Herdsire, you need to look at Tenacity. He certainly is on a very short list of superior rose grey's.
Tenacity's first crias are here! See the pictures of his cria.
Rayo del Sol means Ray of the Sun! He has most certainly been at least that for us. With eight Color Championships and two National Championships, we have loved the ride that Rayo has given us. To add to that, he began settling at 16 months of age so now we are seeing his offspring. Half interest in Rayo sold for $175,000 making him the highest selling grey animal sold to date. Outside breedings are no longer available.
